It looks like Elizabethtown will open in the U.S. on July 29th, 2005! Let the anticipation begin. It’s good to see a Cameron film getting released in the heat of summer. It’s technically the first Crowe film to be released in the summer (not counting Fast Times).

It seems that the release date for Vanilla Sky is set for December 14, 2001. This had been previously mentioned a few months back (after mid-October had been the first date). Entertainment Weekly and Variety recently ran stories about the Fall releases and confirmed the December date.
