A new addition to the Journalism section today as Cameron profiles Led Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti tour in this Rolling Stone article from May, 1975. In this piece entitled “Led Zep Conquers States, ‘Beast’ Prowls to the Din of Hordes”, you’ll find some vintage Robert Plant and Jimmy Page quotes as the band wraps up their North American trip.

The Song Remains The Same – Liner Notes x 2

How about a double shot of Led Zeppelin liner notes for your Friday viewing pleasure? You may not know, but Cameron created two completely different set of liner notes for Led Zeppelin’s inaugural live album. The 1976 version is a brief look at a first, a Zep performance captured on film. The lengthier liner notes for 2007 remaster focus on the unique live experience of a Zeppelin concert and includes present day quotes from Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. I hope you like the both!

I’m pleased to share Cameron’s first journalism he did for the L.A. Times in 1973 covering Led Zeppelin entitled “Zeppelin Alchemy: Transmuting”. The article begins with a recap of Zep’s show at the San Diego Sports Arena, moves into a history of the band and includes many quotes from Robert Plant and a very talkative Jimmy Page. Enjoy!
