Can you believe it has been 15 years since Almost Famous hit theaters? While the film premiered on September 8th, 2000 at the Toronto International Film Festival, we will be celebrating its release with a bunch of fun photos (behind the scenes, Stillwater, etc.) daily for the next 10 days or so. So let’s begin and please share your memories of the film in the comments section!
Here’s some nice behind-the-scenes footage shot in pre-production and during the making of Aloha, set to slack key master Ledward Kaapana’s soulful rendition of the Hawaiian standard “Hi’ilawe”. The warmth and open arms with which we were received in Hawaii is something we will never forget. Mahalo to all our friends back on the islands!!
Cameron shared this behind the scenes photo yesterday via Twitter. It’s a Bradley Cooper taken photo with his leading ladies Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams during rehearsals for Aloha in Honolulu.
In celebration of the Singles Blu-ray release (out today!), we will be sharing some archival behind the scenes pictures and other goodies over the next week or so. First up is a early poster concept that was not used.
MTV shares this clip about music and its use on the set of We Bought A Zoo. Actors Scarlett Johansson, Thomas Haden Church and Matt Damon all chime in with their thoughts. This clip is part of a longer feature on the Zoo Blu-ray.
As you might recall, I was lucky enough to visit the We Bought A Zoo set in early April, 2011. I shared some pictures and early thoughts back then, but thought you would enjoy a few more now (especially if you have seen the film). You’ll find pics of the set design, props (and even my wife, Sue, with Krystal, the capuchin monkey)! I’m an amateur photographer, so please be kind….
